Update: venue change for “South Africa’s World: Perspectives on Diplomacy and International Political Economy”
The Centre for the Study of Governance Innovation (GovInn) in partnership with the SARChI Chair: African Diplomacy and Foreign Policy would like to announce a change of venue for our roundtable discussion in honour of the renowned academic and diplomat Prof. Gerrit Olivier entitled “South Africa’s World: Perspectives on Diplomacy and International Political Economy”. The venue for the 3 May roundtable discussion will now be in the Senate Hall of the University of Pretoria Administration building (Hatfield campus).
This roundtable brings together some of the country’s leading thinkers to explore South Africa’s foreign policy. Participants include Deon Geldenhuys (University of Johannesburg), Chris Landsberg (SARChI), Lorenzo Fioramonti (GovInn) and Costa Georghiou (University of Johannesburg). Elizabeth Sidiropoulos (South African Institute of International Affairs) will provide opening remarks along with Prof Geldenhuys. The last word will of course go to Prof. Gerrit Olivier himself.
