The Thuli Madonsela Good Governance Lecture, 1 November 2016
On November 1, 2016 the Centre for the Study of Governance Innovation (GovInn) in association with corporate sponsors Wiphold, held the inaugural Thuli Madonsela Good Governance Lecture at the St Georges hotel in Irene. This inaugural lecture was given by Advocate Madonsela herself, who has inspired dialogue around good governance in South Africa during the course of her tenure as Public Protector. Advocate Madonsela addressed the question of what good governance is, who governs and for whom. This event will be held annually, with good governance leaders and practitioners being identified and invited to speak on the importance of governance innovation as we strive towards good and ethical leadership in South Africa.
Below is a collection of images from the event.
The full audio and video of the lecture will be made available on the website soon.
